RESEARCH ORIENTATION AND EXPERTISE
1. Geotechnics: Stabilize foundations, basements under the impact of groundwater in each specific case of soil and rock. Focusing on the characteristics and solutions of groundwater treatment for underground works in Ho Chi Minh City, including subway lines being deployed.
2. Hydrogeology: Evaluation of reserves, exploitation, and protection of underground water resources in the Mekong Delta. Inter-regional, inter-regional co-operation in the rational exploitation and sustainable protection of groundwater resources in the context of increasing salinity intrusion and profound effects of climate change in the Mekong Delta area.
