Introduction
The International Conference on Geosciences, Sustainable Energy and Environment (GEE Conference 2026) is an international academic forum dedicated to advancing research, innovation, and collaboration in the fields of geosciences, green energy, and environmental sciences. The conference will be held on August 14, 2026, in Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, 268 Ly Thuong Kiet Str., Dien Hong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), in a hybrid format combining both on-site and online participation. GEE Conference 2026 aims to bring together researchers, academics, professionals, policymakers, and industry representatives from around the world to exchange the latest scientific findings, technological advances, and practical solutions addressing global challenges related to natural resources, energy transition, and environmental sustainability.
The conference is organized by the Faculty of Geological and Petroleum Engineering, in collaboration with leading universities and research institutes in Vietnam. All accepted papers will be published in the IOP Conference Series, ensuring international visibility and indexing.
Conference Themes
The scientific program of GEE Conference 2026 is organized around three main themes:
Geosciences and Resources
Fundamental and regional geology, geotechnical engineering, geological hazards, mineral and rare earth resources, GIS, remote sensing, and geological modeling.
Sustainable Energy
Fossil energy, renewable and sustainable energy, energy storage technologies, energy transition, and sustainable development.
Environment
Soil, water, and air environment; climate change and adaptation; environmental engineering; natural resources management; circular economy and sustainability.

Publication
All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous single-blind peer-review process conducted by the Scientific Committee. Accepted papers, after revision, will be published in the IOP Conference Series, following IOP Publishing standards and ethical guidelines.
