Bach Khoa Innovation (BKI) is an annual innovation startup competition organized by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology since 2018. The key target audience is students from schools and universities in Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding areas. In 2024, BKI aims to expand its target audience to start-up groups and students from universities nationally and internationally while upgrading the award structure and support package to groups after the competition.

Bach Khoa Innovation provides a creative space based on high-tech science and technology combined with a practical business model, helping young people apply learned knowledge to solve technical and economic problems for businesses and society as well as have the opportunity to realize their startup ideas.
