Education:

2005:  Bachelor Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam.

2012: Master Degree in Hydro-Geology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam.

2017: PhD Degree in Hydro-Geology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam.

3/2017-9/2017: Learning courses “Design, installation, operation and analysis of monitoring next work; and Modeling of groundwater flow”; was held in IHE – Delft institute for water education, Delft, Netherlands.

Relevant skills:

  • Explaining some problems of Groundwater resources under the impacts of environment and human activities in Viet Nam.
  • Groundwater data collection, interpretation and modelling.
  • Description and using of Groundwater flow modeling results to solve the many groundwater problems that exist, both under natural conditions and caused by groundwater exploitation in Viet Nam.
  • Building numerical models for groundwater flow, reactive transport and saltwater intrusion, using the model results for groundwater resources management and protection under climate change.

Professional Experience:

2010-2012: Member of the project “Protection and development research of groundwater resources by rainwater in urban areas of Ho Chi Minh City” Project of VNU-HCM (National university - Ho Chi Minh).

2010-2012: Member of the project “Proposal of procedures for geotechnical monitoring in basement construction and deep excavation”. Project of HCMUT.

2013-2014: Project manager of the project “Proposal of procedures of dewatering system design in basement construction and deep excavation”. Project of HCMUT

2014-2015: Project manager of the project “Hydrogeochemical characteristics of groundwater resource in Ca Mau Peninsula”. Project of HCMUT

2014-2016: Member of the project “Assessment the sustainability of groundwater resources in Ca Mau peninsula”. Project of VNU-HCM (National university - Ho Chi Minh).

2013 - 2017: Ph.D dissertation working on “Assessment of climate change impacts and exploitation activities of groundwater resources in Ca Mau peninsula”.

2016-2017: Project manager of the project “The study of the variation of groundwater resources in Ca Mau peninsula under the impact of climate change and exploitation”, Project of VNU-HCM (National university - Ho Chi Minh).
